We are looking for motivated individuals to join to the Sussex Sawmill team as a Production Supervisor for the Sussex Chip Plant.

As a Supervisor with at the Sussex Chip Plant, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met

Performance management for a production team of 16-20 employees total (4-6 employees per shift)

Training and development for team members

Meeting daily and weekly production requirements

Scheduling personnel, submitting weekly payroll, and generating daily reports

Qualifications:

Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate’s Degree, preferably in a technical, mechanical, or forestry related discipline

Years of Experience Required:

3-5 years of supervisory experience, or

3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting

Committed to top performance in a safe work environment

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrated ability to lead a team

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Available to work a weekly rotating schedule, which includes day shifts and night shifts
