Under the FORESTERS ACT it is the ARPFNB’s responsibility to uphold the public interest respecting the practice of professional forestry by ensuring the competence, independence, professional conduct and integrity of our members.
The Foresters Act and the BYLAWS govern our members. We take great care to ensure that NB’s forests are in good hands and that our members act in the best interest of the people of New Brunswick.
Members can download the proposed DRAFT ACT and DRAFT BY-LAWS as well as Guiding Principles and CODE of ETHICS for their review.

Legislation establishing professional foresters’ associations is created and approved by provincial legislatures and thus becomes law in the province which passed the legislation. That legislation does not apply to other jurisdictions.
